Shift: 36 or 40 hours; 2×10’s and 1×8’s or 4×10’s

1. Unit Name: Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
2. Brief Unit Description: Post Anesthesia Care, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology.
3. Years of Experience Required: 5 years.
4. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1RN: 2 Patients.
5. Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adult and Geriatric.
6. Bed Count: 34.
7. Census: 30 to 40 patients per day.
8. EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
9. Floating Required: No.
10. Rotating Shifts Required: Primarily Evening shift. May need to rotate to an occasional Day shift, no Night shifts.
11. Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, & BLS.
