*** Local Temp to Perm On-Site Phlebotomist – 40hrs Eves ****Shift: 40hrs. Eves, Monday through Friday, 1:00pm to 9:30pm. 1. Location/Department – Salem Hospital. Phlebotomy.2. Job Description: The on-site Phlebotomist will maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance to established protocols. Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems. Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system. Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry. 3. Rotation Requirements: Rotate to weekends and holidays as needed. 4. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 5. Patient Population: Adult and Adolescent patients. 6. Required Credentials: Active MA Phlebotomist License and Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited institution.
